Home - Abstract
Enterprises transition working processes, launch new policies, upgrade equipment, and harmonize the organization. Healthy, growing systems change and adapt. Changing and adapting systems undertake journeys that vary from local changes to enterprise-wide changes. Local pockets of change may be scaled to encompass more of the enterprise, possibly engulfing the entire enterprise. Other times, change may be rolled out enterprise-wide.
The wiki reviews and examines current research on what essential conditions are needed in staging, executing, and sustaining a successful rollout of a new training system. The wiki incorporates Dr. Jacobsen’s ten essential conditions that support learning with technology in the K-12 organization, introduces essential principles that support successful corporate learning environments, and compares Dr. Jacobsen’s K-12 conditions with the methods used in rolling out corporate learning environments. Principles are developed that outline essential learning environment conditions that support the adoption and implementation of a new training system in a major corporation.
